DOON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, SRINAGAR BAGGS 10 MEDALS:
The District Roller Skating Championship was held on October 26th & 27th, 2022, organised by JKRSA under the direction of the J&K Sports Council. In total, more than 75 skaters (boys and girls) took part in various speed skating event. Doon International School, Srinagar, students bagged 10 medals.
Saulleh Mattoo won 3 Gold Medals. He was adjudged the best Skater Award in the Championship. Mujtaba Wani won 2 Silver Medals in
Senior category.
Zuhaib Zahoor won 2 Bronze Medals in U/17 category. Hamza wani and Inayat lone took 1 Silver Medal each in 1000mtr. Nimra Wani took away the Bronze Medal in 500mtrs Speed skating. Doon School sincerely appreciates the students' efforts and encourages them to continue competing in events of this nature in the future.
