Doon School Srinagar Hosts “Art League – 2025” Under the Aegis of Doon Artistry Club
A Valley-Wide Celebration of Creativity and Expression
Srinagar, June 2025 — Doon School Srinagar successfully hosted “Art League – 2025,” a dynamic inter-school art competition organized under the banner of the Doon Artistry Club. The event brought together talented young artists from schools across the Kashmir valley to compete, collaborate, and celebrate the power of creative expression.
The event was honoured by the presence of esteemed dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Dr. G. Nabi Qasba (IAS), Former Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation and Senior Advisor to IRADe, delivered an inspiring address on the importance of art in shaping progressive societies.

The dignitaries were felicitated by Mr. Showkat Hussain Khan, Chairman of Doon School Srinagar, and the Principal, who extended heartfelt gratitude for their gracious presence and unwavering support to arts education.
This year’s Art League featured competitions in four major categories:
Exhibition Category – Winner: Doon School Srinagar
Canvas Category – Winner: Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School
Live Sketching Category – Winner: Doon School Srinagar
Composition Category – Winner: Delhi Public School, Srinagar
The competition culminated in a grand felicitation ceremony, where winners were awarded certificates, trophies, and appreciation mementos. “Art League – 2025” reaffirmed Doon School Srinagar’s commitment to fostering holistic development through inclusive and inspiring platforms for student expression.
